A sweet baby bird hidden among the spring garden.  What could be more inspiring to paint for spring.....?  The small picture at the top right is a picture of some spring flowers at my front door, which inspired this design. 

Stylized in a altered collage art form.  This is painted on a vintage  background paper with bird eggs, and texture paste. Added extras are a vintage key, some metal lettering entitled nest, at the top of the handle, and a small verdigris butterfly stamping. Vibrant colors are done with Deco Art Traditions paint.  I just love the vibrancy of these paints.  A fun piece to paint up , suitable for an intermediate level painter.
