I have been bad, not much posting this month. We had a bit of a scare with my mom, so rushed over to see her in the hospital, she live on the Sunshine Coast, which you have to take a ferry to. My brother and his wife were planning a visit from Hong Kong, and bumped it up a little earlier.
Well the long and short we have to find a care home, she will not be allowed to drive her car, so hopefully we can get a place closer to here, so I can see her more often.
It's so hard when parents start loosing their independance, she has lived in the same place for over 20 years.
So before all this happened, do you believe I actually finished a couple of paintings, and just put the varnish on Friday, so it was great to get back into painting again, after our lovely summer.
One of the paintings I did a dark background of a still life of some of my favorite things and a bouquet of flowers from the garden.
The other is of a owl called Staring at You, using texture and Tracy Moreau's stencil's (love them).

Well that's about all the drama in my life, so will tune out for now, but promise to be back more often.
