Well it's flower time. I have roses in full bloom.
I am so inspired to want to paint and create when I see all the flowers array in their glory.

To help inspire me I have been taking a lot of pictures of iris's, roses, and double clematis.

I tend to like White's because where i live it rains a lot and white shows nicely on a drab dull day.

I have taken some really nice pics of mixed bouquets in vases. These I will save for later to use bits and pieces for paintings.

Just a little tidbit to inspire!

The flower symbolism associated with roses is love, remembrance, passion (red); purity (white); happiness (pink); infidelity (yellow); unconscious beauty, I love you.
Roses were first cultivated 5,000 years ago in Asian gardens.
Roses were introduced to Europe during the Roman Empire and were thereafter used for ornamental purposes.

I hope you enjoyed my little write up on roses.
Happy Paintin! Carol

Today I just uploaded the free pattern pack design to paint for personal use.
It is painted in altered art style that seems so popular today. A fairly quick canvas to paint meausring 12" X 16" in size.
Something a little out of the ordinary for all the dye heart Eiffel tower fans.

A couple of nights ago I was on a business forum and they were saying one of the best ways to get your web site higher in the google search engine is to have back links. There are a few sites that you can submit for free. A couple of them are listed on my links page.
Also have you thought of tweeting about your site? It is fairly quick and you don't have to wait for picture uploads. Short little sentences to attract your buyer.
Well that's a few tips for today. Thanks for dropping bye.

It was a beautiful weekend. Summer is here and i think to stay. I can't wait until we get our portable pool up to cool off on those hot days we have had record highs!
I just finished an altered art piece that I will load up later this week as a free download. It's theme is of Paris. I used a gorgeous sepia toned scrapbook paper for the background, added a post card, and a few stencils of the Fleur De Li's
pattern to go along with the theme. At the bottom is painted a magenta colored tulip. So hopefully you will enjoy painting it and it is fairly quick to whip up.
Well I actually was able to weed a little today, but I am over swamped with horse tail. It seems so hard to get rid of. Oh well all in a day of a garden.
Have a great week and remember find your niche be creative!
